CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION FOR OUR GUESTS

At The Cottonwood Lodging Company, we feel strongly about the health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and employees.  We are working hard to protect against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).   If you are planning a trip to the Brighton, UT area, we are currently accepting bookings with check-in dates after May 15, 2020.  To minimize person-to-person contact, all of our homes are equipped with smart locks or lockboxes enabling you to check in on your own.  We have implemented more flexible cancellation policies for guests affected by coronavirus (COVID-19).  Please see our terms and conditions.

In addition to longer change over time between guests, our professional housekeeping team has updated housekeeping standards to meet the growing need to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).  Our local cleaning and maintenance teams have enhanced procedures, in line with World Health Organization and Health and Safety Executive recommendations, in all of our properties.  We are employing rigorous cleaning measures, including sanitizing surfaces and linens as well as introducing bleach-based cleaning solutions. We are doing our best to keep everything in stock, as many supplies are unavailable at this time.

This peaceful Brighton vacation home is a mountain visitor’s dream, offering spacious yet cozy accommodations, a great location for enjoying nature, hiking, riding mountain bikes, and seclusion.  This multi-level home is set in a quiet gated neighborhood near Brighton Ski Resort.  Set in a mountain environment, surrounded by more than 2 acres of aspen and pine trees, our guests enjoy seclusion and quiet.  The home is only 20 minutes from Salt Lake City and 50 minutes from the Salt Lake International airport.  The property is easily accessed by delivery services and enjoys an excellent internet connection.  Rustic mountain charm with luxurious decor and amenities create a unique blend of pampered and familiar.  The peaked, beamed ceilings and large windows let in ample natural light throughout the home. 

There’s nothing like a mountain getaway for stay-at-home orders.  With excellent wifi connectivity throughout the home, internet TV, a steam shower, and a saltwater hot tub right on the back deck, the main living area is great for an evening of spending family time together.  Take the fun outside to the wrap-around deck for dining and lounging.  The gourmet stocked kitchen offers guests a chance to practice their culinary skills.  Outside is a gas grill for barbecues.  Dine next to the windows for a meal bathed in sunshine or moonlight.  You can even do laundry with a washer/dryer.  This four-bedroom, four-bathroom home can sleep up to 16 guests. Guests visiting for outdoor pleasure or working remotely are in a great location to enjoy the mountains and maintain social distancing. Let loose your inner mountain spirit in the charming Utah vacation home.

Please note there’s a second home over the garage that is completely separate from the vacation rental.  The front entrance/garage entrance to the home is shared, but living spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, hot tubs, etc. are all separate. If you would like additional space, please inquire about renting the second home for an additional charge.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE:  Absolutely NO DOGS ALLOWED.  Not only is it illegal to have dogs in Big Cottonwood Canyon due to watershed and forest service regulations but the owners of this property have a serious pet allergy that prohibits animals of any kind.  If staff or neighbors report the presence of dogs, the guests will have to be asked to vacate and pay for additional sanitizing.  We apologize for such strict precautions.  Events, weddings, large gatherings, or accomodating more than the designated number of people a booked property is advertised to sleep is not permissible at ANY property that the Cottonwood Lodging Company (CLC) manages. Due to restrictive ordinances and the desires of CLC owners to preserve the peace and tranquility of neighbors and our community, these "events" are not permitted, ever, as they can be disruptive and are additional wear and tear on the property and grounds. We apologize for the limitations this may put on your plans to stay with us, but please understand that CLC must (and will) make every effort to monitor, enforce and protect the interest of our owners and our community.  In the event, you are found to have violated this rule you may face potential legal or financial penalties.

We didnt really have to much contact with them other than the few emails with information because everything had clear instructions from the initial booking to the arrival and the departure information. The house was well stocked and we didnt have any issues the whole stay

We had two families of five and everyone had a great time. The house was top notch -- high quality, attractively designed and furnished, clean, big and comfortable, functional and convenient. The details were great -- things like well-stocked kitchen (sugar, coffee filters, paper towels, etc, all the staples), top notch appliances, a great ski/mud room with boot dryer/heaters, and a great fireplace. It's very close to the Milly lift on a nice private loop. The Cottonwood Lodging Co. were great in their pre-arrival communications, and attentive to any questions. Highly recommend!
