CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION FOR OUR GUESTS
At The Cottonwood Lodging Company, we feel strongly about the health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and employees. We are working hard to protect against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). If you are planning a trip to the Brighton, UT area, we are currently accepting bookings with check-in dates after May 15, 2020. To minimize person-to-person contact, most of our homes are equipped with smart locks or lockboxes enabling you to check in on your own.
Changing or canceling an upcoming trip in these challenging times has become the main concern for many guests. While we do not offer trip insurance directly, we are heavily encouraging guests to purchase it from a third party. Please see our full cancellation policy here. Currently, you have the following options if your booking is affected by COVID-19:
- Cancel your reservation in exchange for a full credit towards a future stay (with no change fee). Note: if the new reservation cost is higher, you’ll be asked to pay the difference.
- If you do not want a credit, you can cancel for a refund minus the booking fee and associated taxes in the event that we can rebook those dates in accordance with our terms and conditions.
In addition to longer change over times between guests, our professional housekeeping team has updated housekeeping standards to meet the growing need to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). Our local cleaning and maintenance teams have enhanced procedures, in line with World Health Organization and Health and Safety Executive recommendations, in all of our properties. We are employing rigorous cleaning measures, including sanitizing surfaces and linens as well as introducing bleach-based cleaning solutions. We are doing our best to keep everything in stock, as many supplies are unavailable at this time.
We are here to help. Our team is prepared to answer your questions and can be reached at [email protected] or at 1-435-705-7097. Due to our large call volume, we advise you to email rather than calling; you can also message us and a team member with get back to you. Stay Safe and Stay Healthy!
