CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION FOR OUR GUESTS

At The Cottonwood Lodging Company, we feel strongly about the health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and employees.  We are working hard to protect against the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).   If you are planning a trip to the Brighton, UT area, we are currently accepting bookings with check-in dates after May 15, 2020.  To minimize person-to-person contact, all of our homes are equipped with smart locks or lockboxes enabling you to check in on your own.  We have implemented more flexible cancellation policies for guests affected by coronavirus (COVID-19).  Please see our terms and conditions.

In addition to longer change over time between guests, our professional housekeeping team has updated housekeeping standards to meet the growing need to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).  Our local cleaning and maintenance teams have enhanced procedures, in line with World Health Organization and Health and Safety Executive recommendations, in all of our properties.  We are employing rigorous cleaning measures, including sanitizing surfaces and linens as well as introducing bleach-based cleaning solutions. We are doing our best to keep everything in stock, as many supplies are unavailable at this time.

Vaulted ceilings, amazing views, and a warm ambiance greet you at the door of this beautiful log home situated on a mountain stream near Brighton Village. Construction is centered around large, gorgeous wood beams and quality craftsmanship is evident throughout this home. Custom cabinetry and lighting combine to make this a special spot. The great room features an immense stone gas fireplace, and a wall of windows lets sunlight stream in along with uninterrupted views. There are 4 bedrooms including a master suite, 3 full bathrooms, a large great room, a downstairs TV room with wood stove, a spacious kitchen well-stocked with cooking tools, and a dining area with plenty of seats for all your guests. Parking for 2-3 cars.

IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE:  Absolutely NO DOGS ALLOWED.  Not only is it illegal to have dogs in Big Cottonwood Canyon due to watershed and forest service regulations but the owners of this property have a serious pet allergy that prohibits animals of any kind.  If staff or neighbors report the presence of dogs, the guests will have to be asked to vacate and pay for additional sanitizing.  We apologize for such strict precautions.  Events, weddings, large gatherings, or accomodating more than the designated number of people a booked property is advertised to sleep is not permissible at ANY property that the Cottonwood Lodging Company (CLC) manages. Due to restrictive ordinances and the desires of CLC owners to preserve the peace and tranquility of neighbors and our community, these "events" are not permitted, ever, as they can be disruptive and are additional wear and tear on the property and grounds. We apologize for the limitations this may put on your plans to stay with us, but please understand that CLC must (and will) make every effort to monitor, enforce and protect the interest of our owners and our community.  In the event, you are found to have violated this rule you may face potential legal or financial penalties.

Great house - close to both ski resorts. Well stocked kitchen for any type of meal, great spaces for family games, watching TV, etc. Lovely decor, great beds, plenty of space, and seperate bedrooms for privacy were very nice. Next to the main road, but very quiet.

We rent ski vacation homes every year, and this by far was the best. It's a luxury home with spacious kitchen, great living room and downstairs den. The heating system was great in each part of the home. This home is great for kids. The toddlers, tweens and teens had easy access to snow from many doors of the house. And the entire wrap around deck is covered with an over hang, so kids could still play outdoors with out really venturing beyond the house. It was just glorious. The land surrounding the house was perfect for snow play after a fun ski day. Rivamonte was a great family house for us. It's a 15 walk to Brighton Resort were we skied. And a 5 minute walk to Solitude's Nordic Center, for our cross country skiers. The managers are very responsive, which is important to us. We will be back, it really felt like home!

The home was beautiful. Perfect for our Christmas retreat! Gorgeous fireplace and view of the mountain, and there was even a Christmas tree that set the ambiance for the weekend. The home is close to the resorts, but also quiet for a snowy weekend in. We stayed with a total of 5 and there was plenty of space to cook and play games. Overall it was a wonderful cabin and I would highly recommend it!
